Bible- Today the students took their Unit 3 Bible Assessment. They have a new memory verse which is to know the
Books of the New Testament and that is due on Friday, November 4.
Science- In science this morning the students had a chance to show Mr. Bird their knowledge relating to the states of Matter by answering questions related to their review sheet. The students were asked to take home their Science Journals and Review sheets in order to
study for their Unit 1 Matter Assessment tomorrow.
Literacy- In our Literacy block today the students practiced more with Subject-Verb Agreement and with knowing the past, present and future tenses of verbs and how they can fit into a sentence. I read the folktale;
Jack and the Beanstalk to the kids and we filled out a Folktale Chart reviewing the many different elements of Folktale that were present in our story today. We also did a Spelling Mini Lesson related to Compound words. The students did very well with this activity. Just a reminder that the students have their Unit 7 Words/Skills Test on Friday and their Unit 7 Spelling Take-Home is Due. Also the students should finish their Simile Stories for Friday so that they can read it aloud to their classmates.

MB & SL 3.6 is due Wednesday, MB & SL 3.7 is Due Thursday.
The students should try to have Math Boxes through 3.7 completed by Thursday.
